The text widget will allow you to put your words right into your digital signage design. Simply drag and drop the text widget out onto your design and start editing. You will notice that the text widget (as well as all of the other widgets) have white dots in the corners and the middle of the orange frame. These can be dragged to scale the size of the text box. You can also use the PROPERTIES controls on the right hand side to manually enter the location and dimensions of the text box.
Whenever you are editing text you will see your text tools at the bottom of the screen. These tools will allow you to change the font (typeface), size, color, vertical and horizontal alignment, line spacing and letter spacing. If you have ever used a word processor, you are probably very familiar with most of these controls.
